well its been about 3 months so i guess its time to update!

• i decided to stay in blacksburg at least until december, if not longer.. so i moved into whipple drive right across from Carly( and rose, kay, and joannas old place) so i'm glad i know someone over here!! i got a job at olive garden and i'm a host/server. i know i got my college degree and all but whatever, i'm loving life right now so i'm not complaining at all. i'll use my degree soon. and the good thing is that my parents dont care that i didn't get a "real" job right after school. So hopefully i can get football tickets for every football game, cuase if not i'll be so upset! i'm gonna try and go to the georgia tech game and then i can see rose :) yay! but this summer has been awesomeee. i've gone to the pool a lot, worked, went to the beach, river many times, play volleyball often, etc. i have loved every day and have made some really great new friends. it'll be weird once everyone comes back, yet exciting at the same time. its really excited to see my old neighbors, they are the greatest!
• i'm super pumped for football season to start! oh my gosh i can't wait. even if the schedule sucks i'm excited. i hope football games are as exciting when i'm not in band. i'm sure it will be. i took off every Saturday and Thursday nights at work so i can go to/watch football. hah i'm a loser. but whatever. i like it
• i miss everyone that left blacksburg! yall better come back and visit soon. that's an order!
  

beginning of summer

It has been a while since I updated! Since may 1st.. I have (almost) graduated, turned 22, and started summer classes. My birthday was so much fun! too much fun actually hahaha. Graduation weekend was fun also.. saw my cousins drunk, played louisville chugger with the family, had a huge family game of volleyball, etc. etc. I got an ipod nano and a garmin as some of my gifts! woo!! Now i'm back in blacksburg and I went to my first class today.. intro to the modern world.. or something like that. my teacher is weird and talks a lot. but its only 6 weeks, thank goodness. so if any of you are in bburg this summer.. give me a call!

The final countdown

As I'm counting down the days till I'm (almost) done with college.. I'm remembering all of the good times I've had the past 4 years I've been here. Wow it has gone by fast. I wish I had kept a real journal of everything I've done.. becuase I have the memory of a fish. I can't remember that much.. but what I do remember was just amazing. I wish my journey here didn't have to end, but I guess its the end of one chapter and the opening of another.

You know what's going to suck about going to the realword.. other than the obvious like working 9-5, having your life sucked away by the corporate world, blah blah...
FREE FOOTBALL TICKETS!! I dont know what i'm going to do once I can't get people to buy me tickets anymore. those things are freaking expensive. and bowl games.. oh lord i dont wanna know how much those are going to cost. But that wont stop me from going. it will just suck to pay

on another note.. I picked up my tassel today. Guess what color it is? not green suprisingly.. but copper.. a natural resource. funny guys.. reallyy funny.

woo my life must be lame.. no one wants to read my amazing blog. hah only joking. so it's been 17 days since my last post i believe, kinda a long time. and lets be honest.. my life's not that interesting so not that much went on in those 2.5 weeks.
today however i went on a "fun" fieldtrip in my freshwater ecology lab. We had to do the stupid stuff like get temperatures and hardness and whatnot of the water, and look at little bugs that I care nothing about. but blah blah that was boring. however, we went to this really cool waterfall called Falls Ridge. It's in the middle of nowhere, but there is tons of land, it's surrounded by mountains, and there are some mini caves there. it was soo awesome. but better yet, on the way home.. I saw where Frankie Beamer lives! his house is bigggg. I dont think I could tell anyone how to get there to see it, but it was a beauty. I guess when you make 2+ million a year you can afford a nice ole house in the burg. anyways, I miss you all and I haven't seen you in forever. I'll work on that. Schools' ending sooon oh no! i have no plans for the future, no job for the summer, but whatever, i'm young. i can get a job in a few years. i mean months. money is overrated anyways.

the weekend was ok
friday night was fun- i saw one of my bosses downtown drunk, but that wasn't the first time haha, i went to the beer pong tournament for a total of 5 minutes but donated my part, played some quarters for about 2 hours, and played more beer pong.. i sound like an alcoholic, but honestly.. it's college, who isn't?!
saturday- wholeee bunch of laying around in bed. i dont think i got out of bed till 3, and that was to get food/water/shower. then i went to brittany's and watched about 4 hours of friends.. but hey it was raining, so it was allowed. there was a lot of drama that night, and didn't end up going to bed until 4. gross
sunday- sorority stuff. volleyball tournament in the nasty weather. lets just say i didn't have fun and was cold becuase i forgot a coat.
and now, i am "studying" for my test tomorrow.
yay for not interesting posts, but will keep you entertained for at least 3 minutes
